Foam pre-soak & two-bucket hand wash
We never run a brush over your paint. A foam bath lifts loose grit, then it’s a gentle two-bucket hand wash with a clean microfiber mitt so we’re not grinding dirt back into the clear coat.
Iron & contaminant decontamination
Brake dust and rail dust bond to paint and make it feel rough. We chemically dissolve the iron and clay-bar the contaminants off so the finish is glass-smooth before any protection goes on.
Wheels, tires & wheel wells
Wheels get a dedicated cleaner and brushes — barrels, faces and lug area. Tires are scrubbed and dressed with a satin (not greasy) finish, and the wells get cleaned out too.
Sealant or wax protection
A hand-applied paint sealant or wax that leaves a deep gloss and makes water sheet off for weeks. This is the step that keeps your car cleaner longer between washes.
Exterior glass & trim
Streak-free windows inside the door jambs and out, plus a dressing on the plastic trim so it looks dark and new instead of faded and chalky.
Door jambs & finishing touches
We wipe down the jambs and gas door, then do a final inspection in the light to catch anything we missed before we pack up.

How long does an exterior detail take?+
Most exterior details run 1–2 hours depending on the size of the vehicle and how dirty it is. Heavily contaminated paint or a lifted truck takes a little longer — we’ll give you a realistic window when you book.
Will a wash like this scratch my paint?+
No — that’s the whole point of the foam pre-soak and two-bucket method. Most swirl marks come from automatic washes and dirty rags dragging grit across the clear coat. We do it by hand, the careful way.
How long does the protection last?+
A hand-applied sealant typically beads and protects for several weeks to a couple of months depending on weather and how often you drive. Ask about a longer-lasting ceramic-style sealant if you want more.
Do you need my driveway, water, or an outlet?+
Just a parking spot. We’re fully mobile and bring our own water and power, so there’s no setup on your end — at home or at work.
